Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Treisa Fitness Mobile App (“the app,” “we,” “us,” "Treisa Fitness") handles your information. Treisa Fitness Mobile App is a personal fitness app for tracking workouts, running, and nutrition, operated by Jake Herron. We built the app to be private by default: your data lives on your device unless you choose to create an account and enable cloud sync. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Profile details — your name, sex, and date of birth (used to personalize the app and calculate calorie and macro targets).
- Body measurements — height, weight, and any measurement history you log.
- Goals and preferences — the training focus and goals you select during setup and later.
- Workout data — the exercises, sets, reps, and weights you record.
- Nutrition data — the foods, calories, and macronutrients you log, including items you add by scanning a barcode or searching a food database.
- Account information — if you create an account, we receive the email address (and, when available, the name) associated with your Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or email sign-in. Creating an account is optional; the app is fully usable offline without one.
Information collected through use of features
- Location data — when you start a run, the app uses your device’s GPS to record your route, distance, and pace. Location is collected while a run is active, including in the background so the route keeps recording when your screen is locked. Location is used only for run tracking; it is not used for advertising and is never sold.

- Subscription status — if you subscribe to Pro, our payments provider processes your purchase and shares your subscription status with the app so we can unlock Pro features.
2. Apple Health (HealthKit)
With your explicit permission, the app can read certain data from Apple Health — such as active energy burned, heart rate, and steps — to improve your calorie estimates and run statistics, and can write your workouts and runs back to Apple Health. You control this access in the iOS Health app and can revoke it at any time.
In accordance with Apple’s requirements, information obtained from Apple Health is never used for advertising or marketing, is never sold, and is not shared with third parties. Health data is used only to provide features inside the app. Data you read from Apple Health stays on your device unless it contributes to records you choose to sync to your account.
3. How your information is stored
- On your device — by default, everything you log is stored locally on your device.
- In the cloud (optional) — if you create an account and use cloud backup and sync (a Pro feature), your logged data is stored in our hosted database so it can sync across your devices.
4. Third-party services
We rely on a small number of service providers to make the app work. We share only what each needs:
- Supabase — hosts our authentication and the cloud database used for account sync. Your synced data and account are stored here.
- RevenueCat — manages subscriptions. It receives a user identifier and purchase transaction details to determine your subscription status.
- Apple & Google — when you use Sign in with Apple or Google, they authenticate you and provide us your email (Apple may provide a private relay email) and name.
- Open Food Facts and USDA FoodData Central — when you search for a food or scan a barcode, the search term or barcode is sent to these food databases to return nutrition information. No account or identity information is attached to these lookups.
- Apple App Store — processes all subscription payments. We never receive your full payment card details.
5. How we use your information
- To provide and personalize the app’s tracking, targets, and statistics.
- To calculate calorie and macronutrient targets and daily energy estimates.
- To sync your data across your devices when you enable cloud sync.
- To manage your subscription and unlock Pro features.
- To respond to support requests you send us.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
6. Data retention
Data stored on your device remains until you delete it in the app, or until you uninstall the app. Data stored in your account remains until you delete it or delete your account. When you delete your account, we delete your account record and the data associated with it from our cloud database.
7. Your rights and choices
- Access and edit — you can view and change your profile, measurements, and logged data at any time within the app.
- Delete your account — you can permanently delete your account and its associated cloud data from the app’s Profile settings. This action is irreversible.
- Permissions — you can grant or revoke location and Apple Health access at any time in your iOS Settings.
- Use without an account — you can use the app’s core tracking entirely offline without creating an account.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data (such as access, correction, or deletion). To make a request, contact us using the details below.
8. Children’s privacy
Treisa Fitness Mobile App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections to our services and access controls that restrict your cloud data to your own account. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above and, where appropriate, provide notice in the app. Your continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
